Beaches

The beach in the city centre is at its liveliest in the summer. There is a

children's restaurants, as well as a few private beaches.
In the extension of the latter in the direction of LaCroix Valmer, make way for the Parc beach which is appreciated because it is away from the road.
On the other hand, it is narrower. Outside the city, Pardigon beach is undoubtedly the most beautiful beach in Cavalaire sur Mer. There is a wild environment, without construction in a protected area. The only drawback is that you have to pay for parking in season (to be honest, there are very few beaches where parking is free on the French Riviera).

For those looking for authenticity, head west of Cavalaire towards Le Rayol-Canadel with the cove of Bonporteau, less known than the beaches of the town centre.

Nestled between rocks, the environment is very
Exotic. On the other hand, you have to walk to get there (less than 10 minutes but the path is sloping, the way back is  a bit difficult...).
Even more confidential, the Calanque de la Cron offers remarkable underwater depths. The beach is very narrow but there are some rocks on the sides where you can
lie down.

Access is difficult to find, you have to take the pedestrian crossing in the Mas du Levant housing estate (on Avenue de la Vigie) and then follow the road on the left.
At the back, behind the last house, there is a small path

(sign indicating a danger of falling rocks - access prohibited) giving access to the stairs. Parking is quite difficult in the Rue de la Vigie, especially in summer.
